A Proud Moment for RAR-Institute and the Entire Rohingya Community

The Rohingya Academic Research Institute (RAR-Institute) is proud to announce that its Founder, Chair & Executive Director, Kaisayr Husein, has been invited to receive the “Asia’s Most Distinguished Scholar & Community Builder Award” at the 41st World School Summit, to be held in Kuala Lumpur on 26 September 2026, alongside participants representing more than 40 countries.

This recognition marks a meaningful moment for RAR-Institute and the wider Rohingya community. While the honour is being presented to an individual, its significance extends beyond one person. It reflects the collective commitment, dedication, and academic contributions of the many individuals who have helped build and strengthen RAR-Institute.

The recognition is therefore shared with the Leadership Council, Advisory Board members, professors, instructors, scholars, researchers, academic staff, and dedicated working teams whose knowledge, time, expertise, and continued efforts contribute to the Institute’s academic mission and development.

As a Rohingya-led academic institution, RAR-Institute is honoured to see its academic work and community-focused mission represented on an international platform alongside universities, colleges, scholars, educators, and educational institutions from around the world.
