Diploma in Academic Research Studies: Semester Examination and Awarding Programme (June 2026)

In June 2026, the Rohingya Academic Research Institute (RAR Institute) successfully completed two major academic milestones under its Diploma in Academic Research Studies: the Semester Final Examinations and the Semester-End Awarding Ceremony. These events reflected the Institute’s commitment to academic excellence, research capacity development, ethical education, and leadership cultivation.

Semester Final Examinations – 12 June 2026

On 12 June 2026, RAR Institute conducted the Semester Final Examinations for students enrolled in all three semesters of the Diploma programme at Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The examinations assessed students’ academic knowledge, analytical thinking, and research competencies developed throughout the semester.

The examinations covered six core courses:

Semester I

  • Introduction to Research Methodology
  • Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods

Semester II

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation
  • Ethics in Academic Research

Semester III

  • Research Proposal Development
  • Advanced Research Design

The examinations were administered under strict academic regulations by qualified invigilators with oversight from the Institute’s Leadership Council and Advisory Board. Students demonstrated professionalism, discipline, punctuality, and integrity throughout the examination process, reflecting the Institute’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards.

Following the completion of the examinations, answer scripts underwent a comprehensive marking and verification process to ensure fairness, transparency, and consistency before the release of official results.

Semester-End Awarding Ceremony – 26 June 2026

Following the successful evaluation process, RAR Institute organised its Semester-End Awarding Ceremony and Official Transcript Distribution Programme on 26 June 2026 at Cox’s Bazar Rohingya Refugee Camp, Bangladesh.

The ceremony brought together students, faculty members, community leaders, invited guests, and members of the Institute’s leadership to celebrate academic achievement and recognise the successful completion of another semester.

Eligible students received their official academic transcripts, institutional documents, and certificates. Academic awards were presented to students who secured First, Second, and Third Position in recognition of their outstanding academic performance, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Awards, transcripts, and appreciation certificates were presented by respected community leaders and distinguished guests.

The event also strengthened collaboration among students from different academic cohorts, promoted a culture of research and lifelong learning, and reinforced the Institute’s mission of developing future researchers, educators, and community leaders.

The successful implementation of the Semester Examination and Awarding Programme demonstrates RAR Institute’s commitment to delivering quality higher education in underserved communities.
