🎓 Active Group Discussions — Strengthening Research Skills at RAR Institute

During the recent Monthly Workshop and Practical Training, learners at RAR Institute took part in vibrant group discussions led by the RAR Graduate and Guide Team. Each group explored key questions about research skills, methodology, and academic ethics — turning theory into meaningful conversation and collaboration.

Participants asked thought-provoking questions such as:

  • How do we choose a good research topic?
  • What makes a strong research question?
  • How can we ensure our data is valid and reliable?
  • What are the main differences between qualitative and quantitative research?
  • Why is ethical conduct so important in academic research?

Through these discussions, learners developed deeper understanding of research design, literature review, data collection, and analysis. They also practiced giving feedback to peers, debating different ideas, and presenting their group conclusions with confidence.

The RAR Institute Guide Team encouraged every learner to think critically, ask questions boldly, and engage in respectful academic dialogue. This approach helps build not only research competence but also leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills essential for future scholars.

Such group learning sessions are at the heart of RAR Institute’s mission — empowering Rohingya youth to become ethical researchers, thinkers, and leaders who contribute to positive change in their communities and beyond.
