Before meeting these wonderful students, I have had several encounters with Mr Kaisayr and I think he is amazing. That gave me an idea how the research students he is tutoring at RAR would be. Lo and behold my thoughts about them are overly confirmed now. I have come to realise after a couple of sessions with them that they are but young students who are hungry for success. They are hardworking and are amazingly pushing hard to make it. What is mindboggling about them is the fact that they are thriving amidst the difficult life and injustice they are facing, many of them in weak tents and neglected camps. Give them the chance and opportunity and they will rub shoulders with any students in the world.

Since my years as a Rohingya researcher based in the Philippines, I met several Rohingya youths who have shown me determination, positivity and hope, and one of them is Brother Mr Kaisayr. I am honored that he invited me to speak on qualitative research for his students and I am touched by the sheer interests of his students to critically approach the issues of the Rohingya, their place in the world and the reality of this world for them. He is an inspiration for the generation of Rohingya in Myanmar, Bangladesh, and elsewhere in the world. He is achieved so much for the Rohingya and which I am forever grateful for his inspiring journeys for all Rohingya. The world needs Mr Kaisayr who among many Rohingya continue to the drive and the motivation to teach the younger generation of Rohingya scholars in Bangladesh and in Southeast Asia.
