Executive Leadership Council 

Rohingya Academic Research Institute (RAR-I)

1. Chief Executive Officer (CEO)– Mr Kaisayr

Role:

Chief Executive Officer and academic head of the Institute. Mr Kaisayr provides strategic leadership, represents the Institute externally, presides over Council meetings, and ensures the mission and vision of RAR-I are implemented across all departments.     

2. Head of Administration & Chief Financial Officer (CFO)  Mr. Mohammed Solim

Role:

Mr. Solim leads both administrative operations and financial management at RAR Institute. He oversees institutional planning, staff coordination, and day-to-day operations to ensure organizational efficiency. As CFO, he is also responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, fundraising oversight, and grant compliance. Mr. Solim ensures that all systems and resources are aligned with RAR-I’s strategic goals and sustainability.

3. Director of Academic Affairs- Mr Kaiser Komor  

Role:

Oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of academic and research programs at RAR Institute. Ensures academic integrity, curriculum relevance, and quality assurance across all departments, supporting RAR’s mission to advance accessible and credible education for the Rohingya community.

4. Director of Research and Innovation – Mr Mohammed Siraj
Role:
Oversees the development and coordination of research programs, scholarly initiatives, and academic advancement at RAR Institute. Promotes research ethics, supervises ongoing projects, and manages institutional research collaborations and funding opportunities.  

5. Head of Student Affairs – Mr Mohammed Aziz


Role:


Provides leadership in supporting students’ academic progress, personal development, and co-curricular involvement at RAR Institute. Responsible for student counseling, engagement, and overall student welfare management. 

6. Director of Advocacy and Human Rights Programs Mr Abdul Majid

Role:

Manages institutional advocacy efforts, human rights research, and documentation projects. Leads campaigns and partnerships focused on justice, equity, and Rohingya rights.

7. Director of Global Relations and Institutional Partnerships- Mr Mohammed Anis

Role:

Coordinates collaborations with academic institutions, NGOs, and international bodies. Responsible for building strategic alliances and academic exchange programs.

8. Director of Publications and Knowledge Dissemination- Mr Liaqat Ali Roshed

Role:

Manages the publication of journals, books, research reports, and newsletters. Supports academic writing development and promotes open-access scholarly communication.

9. Director of Training and Capacity Building- Mr Abdur Rahman 

Role:

Designs and manages practical training programs, leadership workshops, and skill-building courses for youth, educators, and community workers.

10. Director of Alumni Engagement and Career Services- Mr Misbahur Rahman 

Role:

Maintains strong ties with alumni and supports career development services for students and graduates. Develops mentorship programs and professional networking opportunities.

11. Director of Global Relations and Institutional Partnerships – Mr Mohammed Arif

Role:

Coordinates collaborations with academic institutions, NGOs, and international bodies. Responsible for building strategic alliances and academic exchange programs.
