📢 𝐑𝐀𝐑-𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐧𝐞-𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞

In July 2025, 𝐑𝐀𝐑-𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 proudly launched its Free One-Month Short Course on “𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: 𝑫𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒔, 𝑺𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒔 & 𝑴𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒎𝒔,” designed to empower Rohingya youth, students, activists, and community leaders with essential knowledge to protect and promote human rights.

🌍 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

  • Out of over 400 applicants, 268 participants were accepted based on eligibility and selection criteria.
  • More than 195 learners consistently attended sessions and actively engaged in discussions.
  • A total of 187 participants completed the final exam.
  • 163 learners successfully passed based on their performance and marks.

  • UN Human Rights Systems – Charter-based & Treaty-based bodies, Committees, Human Rights Council, IIMM, ICJ & ICC.
  • Mechanisms & Advocacy Tools – Special Procedures, Treaty Bodies, UN Charter mechanisms, and sources of international law.
  • Historical & Conceptual Foundations – Religion and Human Rights, the Code of Hammurabi, Democracy, and Genocide Studies.

✨ 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅:

  • A strong foundation in international human rights concepts and legal frameworks.
  • Practical advocacy skills to engage with UN mechanisms for accountability and justice.
  • Broader awareness of history, democracy, and genocide prevention.
  • Greater confidence to apply knowledge in leadership, activism, and community advocacy.
